We sit down together
in your office, at a time convenient to you, to discuss what your business
objectives are and how a website could help you make
money. I ask you a lot of questions, you think about all
kinds of new possibilities, and a dream begins to take shape! We
discuss elements of good website design ... and
how to incorporate those elements into your site from the beginning. |

We also talk about
technology issues, such as obtaining your
"URL" if you don't already have one;
hosting your website, maintenance issues, traffic reporting and analysis, and long term
plans for your site's growth. We talk about "people"
and "process" issues, too ... such as new roles in your
organization that may be needed, caretakers of the website, and who
participates in getting this project done. A timeline begins to take
shape as we see the journey we will take together. |

Next visit, you see your
website in a diagram that shows how many pages you will have, how they are
linked, what kind of content each will have, and how your customer will
navigate. We review the cost estimate together, maybe add or remove
a few pages, add some different graphic ideas ... play with the concept
until have a "shared vision" of what a successful website
will look like. |

Now the fun begins ...
we build your site at a temporary website location that you can
actually "see" from your web browser! Each day, you can
check our progress, call or e-mail feedback, change your mind on what you
want, based on what you actually see developing. Your active
participation in this stage enables us to create the vision as you see it,
so that you end up with a site you know and love, and will be proud
to call you own. |

When we're close to
being finished, we get back together at your business and review the
project. When everyone is happy, we set a date to
"go live" ... which means we publish your site for the
world to see! We register your site with the major search engines,
web directories, yellow pages ... and do all that we can to promote your
new website. You can even have access to Google Analytics
statistical tracking of your website. |

Congratulations!
Your website has been born, you are now officially part of the World Wide
Web! For the next 30 days, we will make minor changes to the
site at no additional charge. After all, we want it to be perfect in
every way. |
